Sponsor spotlight: Clipped Wings

We just can't say enough wonderful things about our 2018 auction sponsor Clipped Wings. These ladies have dedicated hundreds or more hours of service and thousands of dollars of donations to DAHLIA over nearly two decades. 

They began as a group of women displaced by their profession due to long-dead stereotypes.  Flight attendants, as we now call them – stewardesses as they were known then - forced to retire. They sought an avenue to stay connected through volunteerism. 

When we used to print it, if the Spotlight is going out, these women were there helping with assembly. They've sponsored DAHLIA's Zoo Do events, accompanying residents on a zoo tour and providing lunch. 

And, at Christmas time, they've been elves, helping Santa distribute gifts and cheer.  They have been faithful worker-bees at our auctions and thank them so much for their years of support and friendship.
