Camp DAHLIA 2024 Highlights

Kenneth loves Camp DAHLIA!

Last week, all of our staff and residents celebrated our 5th Annual Camp DAHLIA!

While our beloved Anne could not be with us this year, we planned many of the activities with her love for the DAHLIA residents in mind - from the red corvette on Racing Day to the fun hats for Fiesta Day.

The Sky is the Limit Picnic

We kicked off this year's camp activities with one of our favorite traditions - the Family & Friends Picnic! Our residents were joined by their families, guardians, and close friends at Crestwoods Park in Kirkland. It was a beautiful afternoon to spend catching up with loved ones, making kites, blowing bubbles, eating good food, and grooving to some fun music!

Racing Day

The first full day of Camp DAHLIA 2024 was all about racing! Residents played with balloon racers, created their own license plates, and even got their own trophies!

Aloha Day

In honor of Kenny D., another Camp-loving member of the DAHLIA family we lost earlier this year, the second day of Camp was all about Hawaiian vibes. Residents fished, made mermaid slime, and played some luau mini golf! 

Fiesta Day

The last day of Camp was a total fiesta! Each program had a taco bar, piñatas, and some really snazzy sombreros!

Anne's Angel Fund

The purpose of Anne's Angel Fund is to support the needs, care, and activities of our residents. It will specifically sponsor her brainchild, Camp DAHLIA - a favorite of residents, staff, families and guardians alike.

Donations made to DAHLIA Living in her memory will be allocated to her fund and we are committed to creating a lasting legacy in her name.
