Our COVID-19 RESPONSE
We are committed to keeping our residents and staff safe during the COVID-19 epidemic. Many of our residents are medically fragile and/or immune-suppressed. It is critically important that we take every precaution to ensure they remain healthy. We are taking steps to help stem the spread and risk of infection for our staff and residents:
Restricting community activities for our residents.
We are continuing to support our residents to necessary medical appointments, but ceasing all other engagement, relying on technology to aid us with resident visitations.
Encouraging any and all staff who are exhibiting any signs of sickness to remain at home.
Any staff and/or visitors who have been in contact with a person testing positive of the virus will be required to notify their healthcare provider and follow the 14-day quarantine guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Consistent and regular cleaning and sanitizing of all of our programs.
We are mandating frequent and proper hand washing techniques for all staff, residents and visitors. Ensuring that all of our staff, visitors and residents have access and are required to use proper personal protective equipment.
Thank you for your continued support in this unprecedented time. If you would like to help out our organization directly, we are accepting financial contributions and donations of masks and other protective equipment.
